Consignment Guidelines

Gallery St. Elmo consigns furniture and fine home furnishings from a broad spectrum of styles and designs. We carry fine framed art, silver, rugs, pillows, drapes, and mirrors, as well as smaller decorative objects such as candlesticks, trays, picture frames, crystal, and much, much more!

Consigning
We appreciate items in good condition, clean and undamaged, that are ready to be displayed immediately.

To consign your smaller items with us, please call to schedule an appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 11 AM and 5 PM. We're open until 7 PM on Thursdays for your convenience. We ask you to bring a limit of 15 items for us to see. Most appointments last about 30 minutes as we engage you in a discussion about the things you wish to consign. We're usually not able to accommodate drop ins, so please call us in advance of coming to Gallery St. Elmo.

Furniture needs approval by photographs seen in person or sent by email to galleryst.elmo@gmail.com. Once approved, rough pricing is provided and transportation arrangments for the furniture can be made. Please note that Gallery St Elmo reserves the right to refuse items that it deems unsaleable.

Pricing
Our staff is knowledgeable in pricing furniture and home furnishings, but the more information you can provide will assist the consignment process. We welcome your pricing suggestions and input, and together with our experience in the resale market, we set firm prices for your items.

Items are on our selling floor for 90 days with price reductions of 10% every 30 days. Furniture remaining in the store after the 90 day period is considered abandoned and property of the store.

Pickup and Delivery
If you need help, we can provide a list of movers who have proven to be reasonable and reliable. Please remove your furniture purchases within 3 days.
